About Us

Family Trust Servicestm is a family-owned and family-run company, dedicated to helping other families minimize estate taxes and avoid the lengthy, expensive, and often frustrating probate process.   We accomplish this by assisting our clients with the preparation, notarization, and filing of documents related to their individualized Revocable Living Trust and Multipurpose Family Estate Plan.  For more details on our products and services, click here.

President and family patriarch Ray Rivera founded Family Trust Servicestm in 1996 in San Jose, California.  A retired member of the US Air Force and graduate of UCLA, Ray has over 25 years of experience in the estate planning business.  Over the years Ray has used his high level of expertise to help thousands of families protect their hard-earned assets and ensure their loved ones' peace of mind.  Ray is a member of the National Institute of Certified Estate Planners, an Attorney-Certified Trust and Estate Planning Paralegal, a Registered Legal Document Assistant, and a Public Notary.  Ray is available for appointments throughout California.
